Schools across South Carolina
School website design in South Carolina.
Websites for private and Christian schools: admissions inquiries that reach the right person, a parent portal that holds the forms, and a calendar staff can update without calling us. Written scope and price before you commit.
- From $1,500
- 4–8 weeks
- Your staff edit it, not us
What a school website actually has to do
A school site has two audiences that want completely different things. A parent who already enrolled wants the calendar, the handbook and the form due Friday. A parent deciding where to send their child wants to know who teaches there and how to arrange a visit. Most school sites serve one of them badly and the other not at all.
So we build for both. The admissions path stays short and obvious, and everything a current family needs sits behind clear links rather than three levels of menu.
What you get
- An admissions inquiry form that reaches a named person, not a shared inbox nobody checks
- A parent area for handbooks, forms, policies and anything else you hand out on paper today
- A calendar your office staff update themselves, without calling us
- News and announcements, so the front page stops going stale over the summer
- Faculty and staff pages, which are the pages prospective families read most
- Search basics handled at build time, plus your Google Business Profile set up properly
If you want staff to manage more of it themselves, or a private console for tracking enrollment inquiries, that is the Premier package. The services page breaks down what sits in each one.
What it costs
A basic site starts at $1,500 one-time, plus care and hosting from $199 a month. Premier, which adds a content system your staff edit and a private console, starts at $3,500 plus care from $299 a month. Larger builds are quoted to scope.
A school site is usually the larger end of that, simply because there are more pages: every grade, every program, every staff member. You get the real figure in writing before you agree to anything, and the monthly cost stated up front rather than discovered later. The full pricing is on the home page.
Who we build for
Private and Christian schools, academies, preschools and daycares, mostly in South Carolina and the Upstate. We take a limited number of projects at a time, which is why the person who builds your site is the person you talk to.
The two situations we see most: a site nobody has been able to update since the person who built it left, and a school running admissions through a paper form and a spreadsheet. Both are fixable.
What we don't do
Worth saying plainly, because it saves everyone a conversation:
- We don't build on WordPress, Wix or Squarespace. If a template genuinely fits, we will say so rather than sell you a custom build.
- We don't provide student information systems. If you use one already, we link to it rather than trying to replace it.
- We don't certify compliance. We will build carefully around student data and tell you what we are storing, but confirming your obligations under student privacy law is your counsel's job, not ours.
- We don't lock you into a contract. Care plans run month to month, and everything transfers to you at launch either way.

Yes. That is the main reason schools come to us. Calendar dates, announcements and staff pages are built to be edited by whoever is in the office, without calling us and without touching any code.
Yes. We build a parent area that holds handbooks, permission slips, policies, lunch menus and anything else you hand out on paper today, so families stop emailing the office asking for another copy.
No. If you already use a student information system for grades, attendance or tuition, we link to it rather than trying to replace it. Your website and that system do different jobs, and replacing a working one is rarely worth the disruption.
The inquiry form goes to a named person you choose, not a shared inbox nobody checks. Every inquiry is also stored, so a form that fails to send an email does not quietly lose a family who was ready to enroll.
Usually, yes. Most builds take four to eight weeks, so a project that starts in early summer launches before students return. Tell us the date you need it live and we will say plainly whether it is realistic before you sign anything.
We build to accessibility standards as a matter of course: real headings, labeled forms, keyboard navigation, alt text and readable color contrast. We do not issue compliance certifications, and if your school is under a specific legal obligation, that is worth confirming with your counsel.
Yes. Private and Christian schools, academies, preschools and daycares are all the same shape of problem: families comparing you to other options, and current parents needing forms and dates. The site size differs, the approach does not.
